Working with the Food and Beverage Manager and Kitchen Brigade it will be your responsibility to assist with the daily operation of the restaurant and bar areas for Twr y Felin Hotel and to provide support to our sister hotels Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory as and when required. Duties will include, to anticipate guests’ needs, wherever possible, in order to deliver exceptional quality of service and, in turn, guest satisfaction, explain the menus and specials to suit the individual tastes of the guests. You should be able to describe and upsell products to the guests, take orders accurately and post the orders accurately in a time efficient manner and be able to maintain and deliver consistent company standards.

We are looking for experienced Chefs to join the team as a Chef de Partie, mainly based in Twr y Felin Hotel, there may be occasions where you need to support our sister properties. Your duties will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen. To implement, train and maintain the standards set with the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef. To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required. To control stock levels, and ensure that all food to is used appropriately at all times. You will be expected to help support and develop the team and to help with the development of the menu and suggest dishes You should be able to liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.

We are looking for hosts to work alongside the Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory Managers our Hosts have the responsibility to deliver cleanliness to the correct standards whilst remembering the finest details throughout the hotel. You will be located in either property depending on rota requirements. Duties include prepare and serve breakfasts to company standards, check guests in and out and process payments using the Property Management System (PMS) and service guest’s requirements. You will be required to Clean, maintain and restock guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas to company standards and ensure all public areas are clean and welcoming to guests at all times. You will be expected to fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.

As Breakfast Chef at Twr y Felin Hotel, it will be your responsibility to attend to our guests for their breakfast needs.

Duties include:

  • Prepare and serve breakfasts to company standards.
  • Check food stocks on a regular basis and order the appropriate food stocks to match business needs in a timely manner to reduce food waste and minimize out of date stock.
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding guest dietary requirements and special requests.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned with the correct cleaning product in a safe working environment.
  • Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment.

 

As Breakfast Chef at Penrhiw Priory, it will be your responsibility to attend to our guests for their breakfast needs and to clean and restock the public areas.

Duties include:

  • Prepare and serve breakfasts to company standards.

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned with the correct cleaning product in a safe working environment.

We are recruiting Housekeeping Assistants based mainly at Twr y Felin Hotel, however you will be expected to assist in Penrhiw Priory and Roch Castle when required. Duties include to clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas to the company standards. You will need to ensure all public areas are clean and welcoming to guests at all times and to fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety. You will need to work at an efficient pace to ensure guest rooms are completed prior to their arrival. And communicate with the relevant Line Manager rooms have been completed.

As Head Housekeeper you will successfully manage a team of Housekeepers at Twr y Felin Hotel. You will be required to work closely with the Managers at Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory to ensure that the company standards are the same level throughout all venues.

The duties will include conduct daily briefings to the housekeeping team, creating daily checklists for the housekeeping team and routinely check their completion. Checking completed bedrooms with an eye for detail, ensuring they are cleaned to the company standards. Inspecting public areas, corridors and stairways to ensure they are clean and welcoming to guests at all times. To implement, train and maintain company standards throughout the housekeeping team and to liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.

We are currently recruiting for full and part-time Laundry Assistants to join our team working out of our own laundry at Brawdy Business Park. It will be your responsibility to deliver, collect and clean linen for all three of our properties.
